Terms of Service

1. Overview

DropLyric ("we," "us," or "our") is a platform that turns your stories, ideas, or lyrics into personalized, AI-generated songs delivered to your inbox within 24 hours. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use our services. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. How It Works

  • You submit a story, idea, or lyrics through our order form.
  • You may optionally add our Lyrics Writing Add-on if you need help with lyrics.
  • We use AI tools and creative processes to generate a personalized song based on your input.
  • Your song is delivered to the email address you provide, typically within 24 hours of order confirmation and successful payment.
  • All songs are for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • Custom Song: $29.00 USD
  • Lyrics Writing Add-on: $10.00 USD
  • Total with add-on: $39.00 USD

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By submitting payment, you authorize us to charge the applicable amount to your payment method. All fees are non-refundable except as described below.

5. Refund Policy

We strive to deliver a song you love. If you are unsatisfied with your song, you may request a revision within 7 days of delivery. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis and are only issued if:
  • We fail to deliver your song within 72 hours of order confirmation; or
  • The delivered song is materially defective or does not correspond to the order submitted, and we are unable to correct it after a reasonable revision request.

6. User Content

By submitting text, ideas, or lyrics to DropLyric, you grant us a limited license to use that content solely to create and deliver your song. You retain all ownership of your original content. You represent that your submissions do not infringe any third-party rights, are not defamatory or unlawful, and do not violate any applicable laws.

7. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of the lyrics and ideas you submit.
  • DropLyric retains ownership of the generated composition, arrangement, and production elements, subject to the personal-use license granted to you upon delivery.
  • The delivered song is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may share it with friends and family, but you may not sell, distribute, broadcast, or use it for commercial purposes without our prior written agreement.

8. Delivery Timeline

We aim to deliver all songs within 24 hours of order confirmation. In rare cases, high demand or technical issues may cause delays up to 72 hours. If your order is not delivered within 72 hours, you are eligible for a full refund.

9. Limitation of Liability

DropLyric provides songs on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.

10. Disclaimers

We do not guarantee that every song will meet your subjective expectations. AI-generated music is inherently creative and variable. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco County, California.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
